NWSL week 14 recap

The nwsl is back and lets just say … we are hype. Catch up on all the action from NWSL Week 14: teams, standout players, surprises, and everything you missed (or need to rehash).

  • FINAL: CH 1- 1 GFC

Surprisingly… the stars and bats drew 1-1 in the re-opening match of the 2025 season. Shoutout to rookie KHYAH HARPER on getting her 1st nwsl start AND 1st league goal!

Funny enough both goals were a cross in from the left with a header finish. this was a very nwsl choas-coded match.

    Check out the NWSL rankings.

  • Final : KC 2-0 RL

The current acquired ally sentnor and scored two bangers in one day. what can’t they do??

Chawinga is making her steady rise in the golden boot race.

(I would also like to mention the field conditions in louisville. rough.)

  • FINAL: SEA 2-0 ACFC

Per usual Angel City started off strong, but unfortunately could not round out the entire 90.

It is the month of Jess Fishlock. She comes off the Euros scoring Wales’ first ever major tournament goal and tallies her 44th NWSL goal in this game.

  • Final: NC 0-0 SD

Alright we are gonna be honest … this one was pretty anti-climatic. But that is okay! Both sides walked away with shared points.

Ashley Sanchez & Ryan Williams celebrated their 100th nwsl regular season appearances. what an amazing milestone girlies!

    more here.

  • Final: BAY 2-2HOU

when you think of the nwsl, this action packed game represents the league perfectly. we believe there is a glimmer of something brewing at the dash, contrary to other’s opinions. on the other hand, we also think the bay has some serious work to do on the defensive end.

will we finally see the rise of the dash? we aren’t holding our breath for this season … but maybe next? and bay … park the bus !!

    Highlights here.

  • Final: Spirit 2-1 Thorns

WELCOME BACK TRINITY RODMAN. upon subbing in after nearly 4 months due to injury, rodman absolutely shmacks in a volley in the 90’ +2 minute of the game.

See what it means to trinity, her team, and the spirit fans here.

  • Final: ORL 1-1 Utah

A few lightening delays later … we ended up with another draw. The highlight of this game for us was Prisca chilufya getting her first orlando goal.

For the royals, Mina Tanaka hit an scloop-chip over the pride keeper which showcased her range of skill and cemented herself to our personal player to watch list!

    Check out those highlights here.

that’s how it played out.
